Official Race Track | Janteloppet 2026

With a promising snow forecast and strong requests from participants, we’re pleased to announce that the 2026 Janteloppet race will use the same course layout as 2025. That means you’ll get to enjoy the same fast, dynamic profile everyone loved.


Track Overview

Distance per Lap: 10 km - ℹ️ The 20 km Recreational Race will consist of two laps of the course (2 x 10 km), while the 30 km Grand Prize Race will be three laps of the same course (3 x 10 km).

Here’s a quick overview of the key technical track stats:


  • Uphill: 4,41 km (43,7%)

  • Flat: 1,71 km (17,0%)

  • Downhill: 3,96 km (39,3%)

  • Longest Uphill: 1,98 km

  • Longest Downhill: 2,3 km

Special Track Features

As always, you can expect the signature pump-track sections and downhill slalom features that make the Janteloppet course both thrilling and ridiculously fun.


Additional Info

As a recreational skier in the 20 km race, you may choose to complete the full distance (2 laps / 20 km) or finish after a single lap (10 km). Whichever option you choose, it’s essential that you pass through the timing zone at the start/finish area to ensure your time is properly recorded.
